Emma’s work spans intimate portraiture with an honest, documentary-style approach, to creative direction and visual storytelling, as well as editorials, BTS + stills for film, fashion and headshots.
She became inspired to work with her hands on a camera by her older brother, Elliot Barbernell, as he constantly filmed her for his YouTube videos when she was growing up. He is now a freelance creative editor based in Los Angeles (his last projects: Ray Ban, Victoria Monet, Adidas). The creative gene really does run in their blood...
